As parents, you want what is best for your children. As youth development professionals, we want the same thing. As a community we need for our children to have a safe place to learn and grow into productive, responsible and caring adults. Which is what we try and offer each and every day; the best programs and activities for our community's kids. Of course that takes support. Support from the community, from businesses and from you.

Times are tough for everyone. The current state of the economy has all of us cutting back our spending. That is why we are focusing our efforts on raising money through routine expenses that we all encounter. We have developed ways that YOU can make a difference doing everyday things. Whether you're eating out with the family, doing your grocery shopping, paying your taxes, or buying your Christmas tree, the Boys & Girls Clubs are doing their very best to find ways that everyone can support our kids.

During these tough economic times, we realize that cutbacks are necessary. But, the one place that we cannot make cutbacks is with our youth. We must continue to provide them with quality, life enhancing programs in a safe, positive environment. We must continue to provide them with hope and opportunity. Remember it just takes one caring adult to make a difference in the life of a child. Are you the one?
