Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River Announces New Chief Executive Officer

Bullhead City, AZ – August 25, 2025 – The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River is pleased to announce the appointment of Saadia Aurakzai-Foster as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 15, 2025

Aurakzai-Foster brings more than 20 years of experience leading youth-serving and community-based organizations. Relocating from Superior, Colorado, she has dedicated her career to creating opportunities for young people to thrive through education, mentorship, and community engagement.  Saadia has proven ability to build high-impact programs

“We are excited to welcome Saadia to our organization,” said Bo Hellams, Board Chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River. “Her passion for serving youth, combined with her proven leadership, will be instrumental in guiding our Clubs into the future and continuing to provide a safe, positive environment for the young people in our community.”

In her new role, Aurakzai-Foster will oversee the Club’s operations across three locations, serving more than 2,500 youth annually throughout Bullhead City, Laughlin, Fort Mohave, and Mohave Valley. She will work closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and community partners to further the Club’s mission of enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

“I am honored to join the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River and to be part of a community that is deeply committed to its youth,” Aurakzai-Foster said. “I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place and working together to expand opportunities for kids and teens in the region.”
